Arduino Create- How to connect your Raspberry Pi with the Arduino Cloud?

This post will help you to communicate to the Arduino Create platform via the cloud using Raspberry Pi. Firstly create a new Arduino Create ID. You can get an account here. I recommend you to continue with the further setup with Google Chrome or Firefox.
  • Now, once you have created the Account, you need to activate it by confirming through your e-mail address.
  • Once you activate it, you are taken to a page. Go to getting started now.
  • From their select Raspberry Pi.
  • Now before your proceed, make sure your raspberry pi is online. (If you haven't set up your R-Pi yet, you may go checkout How to setup my R-Pi?).
  • Now click on "My Device is Ready".
  • If you do not have a separate screen and keyboard (i.e. if you prefer a headless install) and only have the laptop, then click "I know the IP Address of My Device".
  • Now enter the local IP address of the Raspberry Pi. You can find it from Advanced IP Scanner (You may download and install it from here and then click on scan).
  • Now click on Download Arduino Plugin.
  • Install the downloaded plugin. The arduino website will auto-detect the installed plugin. The installation is as simple as any other windows application.
  • Now you will see the arduino icon in your task bar's hidden icons (by clicking the upward arrow in the task bar). You can relaunch the plugin anytime. This will allow you to go to Arduino Create.
